Maverick is a 2016 gelding standing 16 hands, built like a tank and fills up leg well. Maverick is a sweet and strong willed horse who bonds tightly with his person and thrives off of positive reinforcement and a confident leading hand. He is doing very well being started under saddle and is a very brave, independently minded young man. Maverick has 5 lovely gaits that cover ground and are smooth to sit. He would be a great trail horse, contesting mount, or mounted shooting horse due to his unflappable nature. Maverick will make a great partner for a horseperson that is experienced with strong willed horses. He is very smart and quick to learn and will pick up right where you left off from the last session. He would excel in liberty work as he thrives off of connection and clear communication but does not work well with a forceful hand.  With the right partner Maverick will thrive into an amazing mount with no limitations. His price will increase with training and experience.
